Ski area at the Concord
« on: February 06, 2009, 11:23:07 PM »
Hi,
I am doing research for the New England Lost Ski Area Project which has expanded to include New York, New Jersey and a few other locations.  I have several old postcards from the ski area that was at the Concord.   I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on the hill and it's operation (history).  It would be great to know when the area opened, when it closed, if it was only for guests or open to the public, rental equipment available, amenities in the lodge, grooming, day/night skiing, snowmaking, etc.  It would also be great to get some photos and/or literature from it's time of operation.   It would also be great to get some photos and/or literature from their time of operation. I'd like the information to write an article for http://nelsap.org, a site for the preservation of ski history memories.

Thank you,
Laurie Puliafico
