concord hotel
« on: July 21, 2004, 07:14:29 PM »
Hi - I was wondering if anyone has done any exploring of the defunct Concord Hotel??  Does anyone have any info on the condition of the building or the security that is around??

I'd love to go there - found a lot online about the Pines and Grossingers, but little on the Concord

Thanks

the concord is still somewhat functioning. you can go check it out any time you want.  being that it is so much newer than the other hotels, it really isn't as interesting.

Check out the UER page on The Concord, located here:

Hope you find that interesting!

Hi,
I have seen those pics, but thanks for taking the time to link me!!  Was hoping to find out a little more first hand info, planning a trip up there.
Thanks though, the few pics on the UER are great.

i am a former employee of the concord hotel on my last visit which was in augest of 2005 . i passed by the concord hotel . it made me sick to see how bad a once beutiful hotel now sits with windows broken and the grounds destroyed. to all of you who think it is nice to try to get inside and look around think again. it is sad to remember how nice the parker house was or you boss house stood proud or how nice the drivway used to be with flowers going down till you hit the front door . when you go there now there is nothing but grass growing on the once beautiful lawn . so next time anyone wants to know ifyou want to go inside dont . let the memeories of a once beautiful hotel lie alone . there are a lot of memories there for someone who used to work there and to see the hotel the wway it is now sickens me  Abby (Las Vegas Navada)
