One of my personal favorites -- picnic benches in a tree? You can't even tell that they're about 60 feet off the ground right now! It's a cute little tree house, but I can't figure out just how the hell anyone could get up there to enjoy it.

This is another staff bungalow that looks like it's roof is in fairly imminent danger of collapsing. |

If you worked at The Pines, you either lived here or in the main building in one of the ultra-cheapo substandard rooms. I honestly could not even imagine working at The Pines. The employees always seemed happy to me, but graffiti in employees-only areas suggests that they were quite contemptful. |

The hotel can be seen in the background of this shot. These buildings are actually filled with stuff, but I don't know what kind of stuff, because they're boarded up as you can see. Kinda shitty, because I'm curious as to what cool stuff (read: treasure and gold deplumes) they could hold inside. |

This is a shot of the tennis center. This also used to be where you would rent your skis from before the ski chalet burned down in the early 90s. I never played tennis in here, obviously, as I was only an elementary school kid when I used to go. But please, do take note of that glowing orange dot known as a street light. Lighting requires electricity and electricity requires a person to pay an electric bill. That means that someone still cares about this building, because they're paying for it to be powered! This is one spot I would NOT enter! (Photo Credit: Jessica Doherty) |

There is a strange little house off to the side of the Hampshire building, right on Laurel Ave. I don't know who lives there, if anyone ever did, or what the deal with the place is. If anyone knows, I'm dying to know. (Photo Credit: Jessica Doherty) |
